The Friends of the Landscape Library and Archive at Reading (FOLAR) is undertaking a review to identify existing oral histories pertinent to British landscape architecture and practice.
Oral histories are recordings of (typically) in-depth, one-to-one interviews with individuals relating their personal experience. Some already identified oral history documents related to landscape practice reside in institutions such as the British Library or the Museum of English Rural Life (MERL) – but other oral landscape histories may be in less obvious places.
