The LI Awards will return to the Troxy in London on Thursday 26 November 2020
The Landscape Institute is returning to the Troxy in 2020.
We’ve been improving our Awards year on year. At the heart of the LI’s mission is working for the benefit of people, place and nature. Our 2020 Awards will do even more to showcase the transformative power of landscape.
New-look Awards for 2020
Our sector is tackling the foremost challenges of our age. Through their everyday work, landscape professionals improve health and wellbeing, promote sustainability, build resilience to climate change and help address the biological diversity crisis.
We want to celebrate outcomes and achievements in every field of landscape. These professional categories will be open to all LI members and strategic partners – be they landscape architects, landscape planners, urban designers or landscape and park managers.

Like our current Awards, there’ll be at least seven more categories centred around design, planning, science and management. We’ll continue to have three open categories, showcasing innovation, legacy and international achievement. And we’ll be inviting other organisations in the sector to partner with us in delivering new categories of Award.
Our independent judging process will continue. And the LI Awards will remain fair and representative for everyone involved in bringing a project to life: clients and employers; public, private and third sector; organisations large and small.
Entries open from May to June, with the ceremony planned for Thursday 26 November 2020. Look out for more information in the New Year.
