Landscape, the Journal of the Landscape Institute, has won a Bronze Award at the 2022 Association Excellence Awards!
The Journal edged out four other finalists – out of seven total – to win the third prize in the category ‘Best association newsletter, blog, online or physical publication (circulation up to 6,500)’.
Judges praised the Journal’s ‘Great look and feel’, ‘wide audience readership’, its ‘good use of images’, and ‘engaging content’.
‘This is a beautifully presented in-house magazine, using a good mix of imagery, white space and engaging text,’ judges said. ‘There is a good balance of long- and short-read articles, making it a reader-friendly publication for LI members. The aim of LI to protect, conserve, and enhance the natural and build environment was clear in its pages and, as such, it promoted the aims of its parent organisation well.’
Editor Paul Lincoln picked up the Award at a ceremony on Friday 14 October. A highlights video and photographs from the event are now available at the website: www.associationexcellenceawards.co.uk.
The Association Excellence Awards celebrate the vital work of associations, trade bodies, professional organisations, and chartered institutes for and on behalf of their members. This is the first time the LI has entered the Awards, and we’re absolutely delighted to see the Landscape journal recognised!
