Take part in our biennial member survey – now open!

Held every two years, the Landscape Institute (LI) looks to its members to help shape our forward plan, so that we can deliver the best support and strengthen the landscape profession. From the 23 January 2023 until 28 February 2023, members will have the opportunity to put forward their thoughts. The survey is open to all LI members during 2021 to 2023.

It is very easy to look inwards for improvement but miss something important that can only be found from a different perspective, surveys are a great way to cover our blind spots.

The Landscape Institute is a member-driven professional body that has supported the landscape profession for over 90 years. Members are at the heart of what we do and help to keep us relevant with the changing times. There is no membership association without members. It is always important to know what the members need, otherwise how do we deliver improvement in the sector?

We were very proud of our Campaigning to Connect People, Place and Nature events across the UK. It may not have happened if not for the members. This has been a great way to connect the community in exciting new ways and present the Landscape Institute as a vehicle for greater potential.

Despite external challenges, the LI has delivered and adapted to keep our members updated to achieve the highest standards in landscape practice against our competency framework. We continue to support our members through our CPD programme, new TMLI membership, policy publications and a review of UK’s landscape workforce to help the sector grow and overcome challenges.

Diversity brings about different perspectives, by engaging with members, you achieve greater diversity of thought. There is power in more ideas and understanding everybody’s thoughts. It’s important for us to know what’s most important to our members for the next two years“, said LI Chief Executive, Sue Morgan.

All members have the chance to submit their feedback by Tuesday 28 February 2023 with a chance to be one of five to win £50 book tokens. This is your chance to shape the future of your LI.
